Pastoral Support Worker/Learning and Support Assistant
B Sharp is looking for a Pastoral Support Worker/Learning and Support Assistant to become part of the team in B Sharp’s young people’s music making sessions – Hub Jams (Tuesdays 6.30 – 8.30, term times,) working with young people aged 11 – 19, and/or Boombox (Thursdays 3.45 – 5.00, term times), working with young people aged 8-11.
Both sessions are held at The Hub, Lyme Regis, DT7 3BS
To work as part of our team of Music Leaders, Assistant Music Leaders and Young Music Leaders to ensure the music sessions are safe, supportive, enjoyable and progressive for all young people who attend. Your role is to provide pastoral support as needed, to ensure all young people can participate fully and enjoy the sessions.

B Sharp’s Summer Music Club
Come along to B Sharp’s Summer Music Club for 2 days of musical creativity, from 10th -11th August.
Join us to play in a band, and make your own track or song, as well as a music video!
For all young people aged 10 – 16 years, whatever musical style you like, and whether you already play an instrument or not. Get involved in playing, singing, lyric writing, singing, filming or performing – no experience necessary.
Bring an instrument if you play one already, or else have a go on our drums, keyboards and guitars.
Lunch will be provided. Club is free for young people who have a HAF passcode.

Song writing Workshop
Join us and contribute to the process of writing a song, both words and music.
Led by musician Dan Baker (http://www.danbaker-music.com/), the workshop is
fully guided and is perfect for all young people aged 8 – 18, including
beginner song-writers and non-musicians.
We will work on lyrics, chords and a structure, and then perform it at the end. If you play a musical instrument bring it along to the workshop and we can integrate this into the final performance.
This workshop is part of the Song for Us Project – a national music project which celebrates our communities and the power of music to bring us together.
The song written by the group will be added to the A Song For Us music map (https://asongforus.org/)

Open to all young people whatever age, style or experience.
