Summer sounds 2020

Summer sounds 2020

We’re running an exciting, online creative music making project for young people in August.
Over 4 zoom sessions, the young people will work together, and with B Sharp music leaders, to create and record an original collaborative piece.  The sessions are suitable for young people aged 8+
Zoom sessions will take place on August 18th, 20th, 25th and 27th from 10.30-12.00 noon
The cost is  £40 but we want to include all young people who want to make music, whatever their financial circumstances and we do have concessions and subsidised places available.
Email info@bsharp.org.uk or call us on 07947 334138 to book your space.

Update regarding COVID-19

To all our young participants, parents, partners and supporters, we hope you are keeping safe and well in these difficult times.
All our face to face delivery has stopped to comply with guidance on social distancing. Our freelance music leaders are continuing to find ways to support the young people we work with to make music, as interactively as possible, and are putting together a weekly newsletter of musical activities, songwriting challenges and mini-tutorials for the young people. See https://bsharp.org.uk/bsharpathome/   Activities are open to young people of all ages, and there are activities for families too – please email bsharpathome@bsharp.org.uk to join in, or follow us on facebook, instagram or twitter..

We have been working hard to liaise with our partners and funders to reschedule our current projects, and to try and ensure that we can support our young participants, and our music leader team.

Please note that B Sharp is using the government’s job retention scheme with effect from 15th April 2020 which means that staff will be furloughed. B Sharp’s Trustees will respond to urgent queries about existing funding and commitments, please email them at trustees@bsharp.org.uk
