First up is Michael ⭐️
Here’s what Michael had to say about his track ‘Can’t Sleep’, and his time with us on this year’s Music Futures project:
“21 pilots are a band that have inspired me to want to create and perform music. Seeing them live is genuinely the best experience I’ve ever felt live. The way they perform, how two guys can make an arena of people sing in unison is insane.
And, they’ve been able to do it despite the fact they are anxious people. It shows you don’t have to be outgoing and confident to create something that’s so powerful and do something so scary and nerve wracking.
Music is my way of navigating life, emotions, mental health, and struggles of life. I want to create music that will help me and hopefully help other people.
If it wasn’t for Gary I wouldn’t be doing this - I’d like to say a massive thanks to him for all the support he’s given me through this project.”

a great big THANKYOU to all who took part in last weekends B Sharp Busking Festival 2026. Whether you sang, danced, got involved in the workshops, donated or simply just enjoyed the good music - you helped make this Festival our biggest and best yet! And we're just getting started...
Next Year, we will be celebrating 20 years of B Sharp. That means 20 years of directly enriching the support for young people through music. We want to go all out for next year to celebrate!
