We work with children, young people and emerging musicians across Dorset, Devon and Somerset, using music to build confidence, creativity and connection.
£42,000 pro rata – 22.5 hours per week

Thank you so much Thomas Hardye School Music Department for hosting Routes into Music: Young People's Careers Expo yesterday. It was a really useful event, with 150 young people from schools across Dorset hearing from local professionals about diverse careers across the music industries - everything from composing music for video games and apps to live sound!

Thank you to all our our fantastic expert professional speakers and to Octagon Music Hub and Dorset Music Service for your support!Thank you to Octagon Music Hub, Dorset Music Service and B Sharp for organising a music careers expo which we were pleased to host today. 90 of our students took part, with a range of professionals talking about the jobs that they do. Our students also got to hear from some ex-students and find out what it’s like studying music or music technology at Higher education conservatoires and universities.
