B Sharp: Music for Everyone

At B Sharp, we believe every young person should have the chance to make music – whatever their ability or experience.

Weekly Music Groups (ages 5–18)
Our fun, inclusive groups give children and young people the chance to:

Sing, play instruments, and jam together
Explore all styles of music
Create and perform their own original tracks and songs

No previous experience is needed – beginners and experienced young musicians are equally welcome. Sessions are led by professional Music Leaders, with Pastoral Workers on hand to offer support.

Early Years (babies & toddlers with parent/carer)
Our lively music sessions for the very youngest encourage sensory development, spark curiosity, and build early social skills – all while having fun together.

Opportunities for Young Adults (ages 16–25)
We support the next generation of musicians, producers, and leaders with development opportunities, training, and projects.

One-to-One Sessions
For those who would benefit from a more individual approach, we offer tailored music sessions to build confidence, skills, and creativity.

BoomBox for 8 - 13 year olds

Join our exciting Boombox groups – the place to make music, have fun, and get creative with friends after school!

🎶 Sing, play instruments, and create your own music
🎶 Try out different styles – from pop to rock to rap
🎶 No experience needed – just bring your energy and ideas
🎶 Led by professional Music Leaders with support from Pastoral Workers

Babies & Toddlers

Our fun and friendly sessions are designed for babies, toddlers, and their parents/carers to explore music together. Through songs, movement, and play, little ones develop important social and sensory skills – while grown-ups enjoy quality time with their child and other families.

These sessions are relaxed, welcoming, and open to all – no musical experience needed. Come along to sing, move, and play together!

Developmental Opportunities for 16-25 year olds

The Harbour Records/B Sharp MusicFutures programme
Supporting young aspiring musicians (aged 16 to 25) living in Dorset, UK, to take the next steps towards a creative career. The current programme runs from October 25 – July 26

Young Trainee Music Leader Programme 
Join our programme to gain paid work experience and develop skills in music leadership, music production and event management.
