Music Futures - Class of 25

B Sharp’s MusicFutures programmes supports young musicians aged 16 – 25 who are interested in a career in music, to help them take next steps.

MusicFutures 2025 involved 15 young people working with Music Mentors from our Harbour Records Label, to record and release an original track across the year. They also met monthly as a group to learn about the industry through meeting local professional musicians, and took part in a programme of workshops to develop their skills in composition, production and performance.

The finale of the programme was a night of live music showcasing the raw talent and fresh sounds of these local, up-and-coming young musicians at the Bridport Arts Centre in July 2025. There were powerful performances, original songs, and a whole lot of passion!
