Come and try out different styles of music making with other people, write your own material, or join your first band.  Any level of skill and experience is welcome.

Information

Weekly informal music and jamming sessions for instrumentalists, vocalists,
and technicians age 11-18 (Year 7 up) held at Pippins Community Centre in Axminster.

You don’t need to be a musician already, come along and develop your skills in songwriting, singing, instruments,performance or production. Our friendly and professional music leaders will support you todevelop your music, whatever music you like. If you are interested in performing, there willbe opportunities throughout the year.
All musical tastes and abilities are welcome.

When our baby won’t stop crying, singing does the job. When our baby is struggling to settle, music does the job. Right from birth, music helps us to navigate our emotions, and to deal with the world around us. This need for music doesn’t diminish. Young people need music.

B Sharp

B Sharp is looking for a Pastoral Support Worker/Learning and Support Assistant to become part of the team in B Sharp’s young people’s music making sessions – Hub Jams (Tuesdays 6.30 – 8.30, term times, The Hub, Lyme Regis, DT7 3BS) working with young people aged 11 – 19.
You would work as part of our team of Music Leaders, Assistant Music Leaders and Young Music Leaders to ensure the music sessions are safe, supportive, enjoyable and progressive. Your role within sessions is to support young participants to ensure they all aspire, contribute and progress personally and musically, as individuals and as members of a group, and have a sense of achievement and enjoyment.
